true
Lord
You don’t
My accomplishment
You want
My obedience
A trust
Without condition
I could try
And give
You the world
Then I
Remember
It’s yours
The purest love
Requires
Not grand gestures
And public audiences
But quiet resolve
To be
The best
Ambassador
For the Kingdom
Yes so true, may we always show him in the best light he deserves!
ReplyDeleteYes to quiet resolve over grand gestures. I need to consciously practice obedience. It's too easy to live for the "self" and make (poor) decisions based on selfishness and the flesh rather than on obeying God.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully spoken truth, Regine

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend <33
Oh, this is a beautiful and thoughtful poem. It's so honest about what truly matters.
ReplyDeleteI love how it moves from what we think God wants to the simple truth that obedience and trust are what's needed.
The truest worship isn’t noise but surrender...
