The Rue

 It’s a big birthday tomorrow. It’s been a long time of blogging. Sharing and baring my soul for all who come here. It’s a journey I never thought I would willingly continue. Yet, here I am doing just that. It’s amazing what you will do as long as it continues to be fruitful. And according to His will.  Thank you for loving me as you all do so well. 

 NYC You taught me To believe again In higher powers Deities And the magic  Of perseverance  When the world  Expects you To fail And yet success is achieved  Because doubt  Is to conquered internally  Not dispelled externally 

 Sweet treats  Sweet eats Are on The menu  This glorious day  Full of  Sunshine and hope 

 City life  That never sleeps  Has been returned  To green pastures  And one stoplight  Quiet is back But memories  Remain of A place  Remembered fondly  For what  Was gleaned  In chaos

 NYC Sensory overload  A place  That didn’t  Have my heart  Stole it Anyway 

 City street Blinking lights  Strong odors People screaming  NYC Sure greeted Me in All its glory 

 Lord You keep  Teaching me  That I  Have a lot  To learn  Even still
